Aside from posting old party mixes... I've been working on all this shit for a new tape that is pretty dope. It's got 2 Lil Wayne remixes-- my "Dr. Carter" and "A Milli" remixes. And on the topic of Weezy F...
Hipsters, Heads, and kids too cool for Lil Wayne --
If you have something against Wayne... like maybe his past, which I admit is kindof "spotty", just listen to his new album. I used to hate Wayne for being a typical southern rapper that rhymed about cars and bitches and what not, but I have made a complete 180. Around the release of Carter II and all the mixes (The Leak, The Drought, and... my personal fave... None Higher) I began to recognize his excellence as an lyricist... although I still hated the productions he was on. I hate Birdman and Cash Money like mad. Mannie Fresh is not my cup of tea.

With Carter III, Wayne has grown up completely. His lyrics are smart as hell. And this coming from me, who used to be a hip-hop purist that would barely pick up a KanYe track, means something. The productions, for the most part, are just as sick. KanYe produces a few incredible tracks and Swizz Beats proves that he is a legit producer. Please give it a few listens before you hate. The album is as mature as you can get while still rapping, "I might go crazy on these niggas, I don't give a mothafuck/ Walk into a nigga's house and shoot his grandmother up/What? I don't give a mothafuck/ Get your baby kidnapped and your baby-mother fucked." Thats one of the most shallow rhymes on the album, and I still love it.
Back to my work: I also have a Jay-Z remix that I've been working on since the drop of American Gangster... the "Hello Brooklyn" remix. Which is very B-more-ish.
As far as electro, I have this one track that sounds a lot like Holy Fuck, a Justice remix, and a TON of Lo-Fi mixes that sound like really distorted french/MSTRKRFT shit.
None of my new shit is downtempo... maybe that says something about my mentality or what I've been listening to...
All of this will probably drop in the next month. Keep up on my Facebook page and you should see... Also, I plan to finally update my myspace for the first time since last summer. So... stay in-tune.
Overall, I'm trying to get my portfolio together so I can land a Diplo or XXXchange internship this fall... hopefully that will work out...
