Essentials: Skiz

Cigarettes: Camel Menthol/ Camel Menthol Lights. Undisputed champ of the tobacco game. No contest. So many of my friends have been converted to the Camel menthol... many of whom were strictly non-menthol...

Drink: Stolichnaya. As a Slav, I'm genetically attached to Vodka. I drink this shit like 90 % of the time I drink. Good enough to drink straight and cheap enough to do it again tomorrow... Classic. Highly recommended.
Underwear: WeSC. These are dope. Wouldn't want the outline of my crotch to be scoped through anything else... highly recommended.

Jackets: Marc Jacobs. I wear Marc Jacob jackets all the fucking time. I don't give a fuck if its 110 degrees outside. Suffer for fashion, muthafucka!!! But seriously... Push the sleeves up like Michael Jackson and your ready to go.
Mags: Here's a couple Vice mags, an old issue of Russia!, and an old issue of Antenna. Old magazines are nostalgic... even if that shit is from a month ago... (thats just my excuse for having some out of date shit).

This is from that issue of Russia! ... It reads "Glory to Russia!" and has a girl spraying oil all over herself... its supposed to be a politically charged piece of art, but I think it rightly portrays Russians as kinky oil gods.
Super Essential. Moleskine notebooks, Alife lighter& WeSC matches.

These might be the most "look at me, I'm a cool kid!" accessories I own, but I love em. The WeSC matches were made especially for me by the dudes at the NY store (by carefully placing a WeSC sticker on a pack of plain matches) and the Alife lighter is just ill. To be honest... I've never used either one.

I could never DJ a party or sample shit if I didn't have my moleskine... I can't remember shit. Above is the set for the last party I DJ'd.
Travel: Mishka duffel. Got this for like 50% off at Union. Erin's dad asked me if this was Ralph Steadman's work.

Literature: Thomas Pynchon "Gravity's Rainbow"...favorite book ever... and Trainspotting is a classic as well.

Clock: Mao wind-up clock from China. My aunt picked this up in China last year... its about as functional as Mao's rule... The shit works for like 10 minutes at most, goes off at weird times, and is covered in lead paint. Love it.

Shoes: Gold. The gold shoe phase may have passed, but I can't get over my Supra's. The Y-3 hightops were awesome too. Almost copped those. Too late now.

Hair: Euro-Mullet... Okay, I know I have a mullet... I prefer the Iberian style Euro-mullet with long sides. I'm getting a haircut soon, but keeping the same style. Family: Moms&Pops. My dads got the complete Miami Vice style goin' here. The man also looks latino... I think its the stash... He would get a ton of Spanish questions when he lived in LA.

Having ridiculous friends is super essential for any baller.

Dudes from The Hundreds read one of my favorite authors. My dad loves this shit too.

Sklogarythms.

DJd a party. Cops came. They got the dog drunk and made everyone go home. I had fun. Lets do it again.

Kid Cudi. Can't get enough of this:I never wear red, but like these... ALOT:
Is it just me or is Y-3 copying supra (gold shoes) and Supra copying Y-3 (black studded shoes)??
Has anyone heard this? Want some feed back before I get it from Colette:
My favorite Visvim ever. Others don't do that much for me...:
If you like hip-hop, you need this. Comes with some crazy bonus shit.
And I'm in Chicago. Home never felt so fucking hot. Pulaski is like a giant grill for hundreds of pieces of Polish sausage.

BALTIMORE

Santogold/Diplo, Justice, Busy P

For some reason Pitchfork wants to act like Justice X Surface to Air is recent news. I heard about this shit before Easter! Get on your game, Pitchfork! I like the Xavier jackets the most, there was a grey one they had for spring, it was my fave... I don't know what the hell happened to it! The jeans look sick, and are actually somewhat affordable. The jackets are... alot. Surface to Air also did Prefuse 73 shirts, hit them up at the Eastern Developments store.

This is for everyone, like me, who still wears jackets even when its 95 degrees out side:

Xavier's:

For the ladies: pa:nuu

pa:nuu is a Danish brand that embodies all the 80's revival shit thats going on right now. While they do have a men's line, its too flashy for me... Something MIA's dancers pull off, but me, not so much. Aside from their models wearing shudder shades... even before Kanye... I think their shit for girls is... cute? Anyway, I like it. Looks like something straight out of Fruition, and probably is.Go pick some up for yourself or lady friend.

Robo Tussin'!!!!

First of all, everyone needs to hear this. Everyone. I love Flying Lotus for that.I've been drinking too much to do any mad blogging this week, and a lack of ill shit in the fashion world has cramped my usual posting schedule. However, Wish has some new Supra's. If you sleep any, they'll be gone... if they're not already.
And check these new NS Supra's that Wish will get sometime soon...I'm not crazy about these colors, but thats just me.
I'm trying to plan this pool party called "Hotter Than The Sun" at the Kornhauser Mansion. Jesse and I are working on the art for it, which will be pretty comedic. I'm DJing and will be premiering a bunch of new stuff from my new mixtape... which will include a finalized version of my "Mr Carter Remix", which you can download the instrumentals for here. There will be a Kosher cookout with a chef that will be attending some prestigious culinary institute next year, drinks galore, and probably some naked people... so hit it up.

So Pitchfork is on some shit about Dan Deacon, Girl Talk, and MC Spank Rock (Naeem Juwan) starting a supergroup. Read it.

I'm cool with Dan Deacon, his shit is fun and what not... but I'm not into Girl Talk... too novelty for me. I'm not a big fan of either one. I guess its cool that both sides of the tracks in Baltimore are coming together to party... but I don't think Dan Deacon/Girl Talk is worthy of MC Spank Rock. Why Naeem?

And Aesop Rock is back. I haven't been keeping up with much Def Jux shit except for Dizzee Rascal's "Maths & English".One of my keyboards finally died. Now it's Steve's. Got this new one on the way from Turntable Lab:

And on a slightly political note:

Jer US defense sheilders,

STOP FUCKING AROUND IN EASTERN EUROPE! We will put cigarettes out on your face and then pour vodka on you. And then have sex with your girlfriends/boyfriends.

Alright, I'm going to eat some Lox.
