This past week in NY can easily be characterized by two people and one drink-- Timmy Wu, Darren Gorman, and the 40oz... unfortunately I don't have a picture of all of them together.
The very first night people crashed in my closet. I guess it was cozy... I don't blame them since the beds & sheets sucked. Met a lot of nice people...
Meanwhile... hit up all the hot spots on Manhattan and took two of my friends along for some... I met the dude from Las Flores Project, who works at the WeSC store. Check out his myspace here... I like his shit alot. Very DJ Shadow-ish.
Unfortunately the WeSC store didn't have the new Ed Banger Headphones.
Went to TTL and picked up some Kid Sister Remixes and some Hercules & Love Affair then had to catch a cab to LaGuardia... My driver ran 4 red lights and bumped Bob Marley the whole time. I gave him a sick tip and told him that that was the most awesome/intense/dangerous taxi experience I had ever had. He got me there so quickly that I caught an earlier flight and slept through it all...Today I woke up only to catch the new Wayne video.
