Friday night was some of the best shit I have ever experienced. Coco, Trishe, and I had a heart to heart. And kicking it with Blaqstarr, Naeem, Catchdubs, Ayres, Eli, Sega, and Nouveau Riche at Love was a dope way to end my CMJ.

On Saturday night I opened a drawer at my friends place and found this... any guesses? Nevtronica And Sam-son-uel

This is the most awkward shit ever. Erin looks sexy/pissed/possessed. Spencer looks like he'd rather be throwing up. Nev looks like Thelma from Scooby Doo. And Ian... looks normal.

Aghhhh. Im exhausted. Might hit this (VVV) up tomorrow night if I have the energy. Maybe Crookers on Wednesday. Definitely Justice on Thursday.

Last night I hit up the Stones Throw showcase at Gallery Bar. CMJ shit is kindof too much. Mad thanks to Roxy. Had a pretty dope time.

Met Madlib. Ive been a fan since Lootpack. Had to show respect.
Saw Scott (Prefuse 73) at the bar. Probably the most influential dude (to me, at least) in mixing elements of electronic with hip-hop. I still bump extingished: outtakes on the regular.
Tonight I'm hitting up Le Royale where my girl Coco is hosting, and then heading to:IM BRINGING MY OWN CAMERA.

Shout out to the duo of filmmakers turned soul singers John and Jacob. They've asked my to lend my production to their fabulous songwriting skills.

On the subject of my music, which since my move to New York I feel like I don't post about enough (along with fashion), I've been making a ton of new shit that I consider my best work yet. A LOT of club bangers. Keeping it on the down low. Heres a snippet.

Tonight-

Yo this weekend took serious toll. Saturday Nevtrillaquist, Sam, and I hit up fish where I met up with my old friends from the south Lizzie and the Chazen duo: Jessica and Lizzie who live in Alpha city. Crazy how people end up in NY.Rolled through Good Times w/ Jemz and Omari for a minute then had to run to meet up with Erin and Laura and CocoBerry and crew. Didn't take any pictures. Retarded drunk at fish till close. I don't even know where my cameras at. Woke up sunday with my shoes, jacket, and hat on. Somehow I got makeup all over my new hat that night and now I got to get that shit dry-cleaned.

Way good time last night. Have no idea why/how I'm awake and functioning... just know that Mitchel owes me money (thought I'd forget?).


So. Hit up Diplo last night, forgot my fucking camera (what the fuck, Skye?), so now you can enjoy the low-res goodness that my photography is known for. Webster is always too impersonal for me, but Wes made that shit more intimate by putting his tables on the floor. Travel of Skye's hat continued with Marc, Spentz, Sam, Ian, Martika, and Rob (who am I forgetting?) in W. Village.

#1- Emmy Garrigus-

This Chatt native is the original creator of Good People Inc. and an all around baller. We go way back to my early highschool days and have continued to be homies since. The first time I met Emmy was in detention where she was giving the teacher mad shit -- stone cold. Now she still resides in Chatt with her boyfriend and her boxers, bulldogs, rottweiler(? ) - Samson, Jake, and other homies. I havent talked to her in a while so I dont entirely know what shes been up to (we need to catch up, girl!), but I'm sure its something good.

I was at the Scion Radio party a couple nights ago and there was this crazy grandma getting down on the dance floor. How can you hate?! This lady is 70+ and still kickin it with the 20 somethings! This is what I need to be like if I make it to the big 7-0.
Tonight is Diplo. Bringing my camera. I have multiple friends from out of town in NY right now and only one has yet to call me. What the fuck?

Its been a while...

So this weekend I headed back to the dirty dirt to DJ at J Dirt's (pictures, anyone?). Shit was fun and I saw some old friends and met some new ones. Mad thanks to John for being dope. Thanks to Rich for driving my ass around. And thanks to Courtney and Amira for letting me crash at 7 am. I tried to write a thank you note but couldnt find a paper, pen, spray-paint, etc.

Now Im back in New York (thank fucking God) and shit is ill again.

Last night I hit up a Scion Radio party at Plan B with CocoBerry and Nevtrilliquist. Kicked it with Jemz, Lloyd, Facelift, Franki Chan, etcetcetcetc. Had an interesting bathroom session with the Arab Parrot. Got no pictures because SHIT WAS TOO EXPLICIT (Arab Parrot excuse). Nah I just forgot to bring my camera to that shit.

Tomorrow is Diplo & crew at Webster Hall.

Tonight I go to sleep.
